The Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Basic Course (Other Ranks) No 35 was conducted at Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) under the direction and guidance of the Directorate of Legal Services, Human Rights & Humanitarian Law (Dte of Leg Svcs HR & HL) from 08 July 2024 to 26 July 2024. The course consisted with 31 x Other Ranks from Tri Services

The objective of the course was to develop the knowledge of Other Ranks on Human Rights, Humanitarian Law and its implications. Course curriculum is designed with the basic lessons of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and highly concerned on developing instructor capabilities of every participant and produce skillful Other Rank Instructors to the Armed Forces.

The closing remarks were delivered by Colonel N S Nallaperuma USP ndc - Director Legal Services, Human Rights & Humanitarian Law on 26 July 2024 and Brigadier S A Hettige RSP psc -The Commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka also presented at the ceremony.
