The Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Basic Course (Other Ranks) No 35 commenced at the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) under the directions of Directorate of Legal Services, Human Rights & Humanitarian Law (Dte of Leg Svcs HR & HL) from 08 July 2024 to 26 July 2024. The course consists of 30 x Other Ranks from Tri Services.

The objective of the course was to develop the knowledge of Other Ranks on Human Rights, Humanitarian Law and its implications. Course curriculum is designed with the basic lessons of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and highly concerned on developing instructor capabilities of every participant and produce skillful Other Ranks Instructors to the Armed Forces.

The Opening remarks were delivered by Maj D C De A Dissanayake SLAGSC, Staff Officer 1, Dte of Leg Svcs HR & HL.
