  THE COMMANDING OFFICER OF PEACE OPERATIONS TRAINING CENTRE – AUSTRALIA AND AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ADVISOR TO SRI LANKA AND MALDIVES ON GOODWILL TOUR ARRIVE AT IPSOTSL
 

The Commanding Officer of Peace Operations Training Centre – Australia, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Webbe and Australian Defence Advisor to Sri Lanka and Maldives, Colonel Amanda Johnston, CSC and Bar, ndc, visited Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) on a goodwill visit on Wednesday (26) June 2024.

The visiting, Commanding Officer of Peace Operations Training Centre - Australia and Australian Defence Advisor to Sri Lanka and Maldives were warmly welcomed by Brigadier S A Hettige RSP psc, the Commandant of IPSOTSL and mango/tea saplings were planted at the camp premises to mark their visit.

The Commandant of IPSOTSL conducted a comprehensive briefing and exchanged views on areas of interest and opportunity to cooperate to both the IPSOTSL and the Peace Operations Training Centre - Australia. Subsequently, the delegation visited training site where the final exercise of ongoing Sri Lanka Air Force Aviation Unit Contingent Pre-Deployment Training Course No 10 which is to be deployed in United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).
