Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) marked its 20th anniversary on 12 June 2024 and celebrated it aligning to the military traditions. The celebration commenced with a religious activity (Bodhi Pooja), which was conducted to invoke blessings of noble triple gems in the eve of anniversary.

In accordance with the long-lasting military traditions, a formal Guard Turnout was accorded to Brigadier S A Hettige RSP psc, the Commandant IPSOTSL. Subsequently, he planted a sapling in the compound as a token of celebration of 20th Anniversary of the institute and all ranks planted tea saplings as a part of the event. The Commandant IPSOTSL addressed the troops afterwards and posed for a group photograph followed by All Ranks’ Lunch.
