The International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights advance course conducted at Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) under the direction and guidance of the Directorate of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (Dte of HR & HL) from 14 August 2023 to 12 September 2023 was completed successfully. The course consisted with 22 officers from Army, Navy and Air Force.


The objective of the course was to develop the knowledge of officers and other ranks on Humanitarian Law and its implication. Further to provide a clear perception on knowledge of Human Rights. The closing remarks were delivered by the Major General S R B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc - Adjutant General of Sri Lanka Army with the participation of Brigadier C A Rajapaksha RSP - Commandant IPOSTSL and Colonel N S Nallaperuma USP ndc - Director Human Rights & Humanitarian Law.
