Combat Convoy Company Pre-deployment Course Level B 1 for MINUSMA (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali) was commenced on 15 August 2022 and concluded on 31 August 2022. The course consisted with 233 students (34 x Officers and 287 x ORs) from Sri Lanka Army representing various regiments.

The course has designed to conduct within 14 days as a mini refreshing capsule. Main aim of this course is to provide the knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations. Furthermore, the course is being conducted adhering to all health protocols and guidelines. The main objective of this training capsule is to offer a brief awareness about the relevant host country and refresh knowledge on peacekeeping. The course was successfully completed within the limited period of time.

The closing remark was delivered by Brigadier C A Rajapaksha RSP, the Commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka.
