Garuda Canti Dharma II Multi-National Platoon Exercise was held in 18 - 31 July 2022 at Indonesian Armed Forces Peacekeeping Training Center, Sentul, Bogor, Indonesia (PMPP). Representing the Sri Lanka Army five officers and fourteen Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and four Officers from The Sri Lanka Air Force were fortunate enough to participate and witness this rare opportunity.

This Multi-National Platoon Exercise was held in cooperation with the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) as CO - Sponsor under the Global Peace Operations Institute (GPOI) Program. The Garuda Canti Dharma II exercise is one of the biggest multinational platoon exercises organized by the GPOI.

The intention of this training capsule is to build skillful and capable troops equipped with knowledge on United Nations peacekeeping within the Contributing Countries (TCCs). This mega exercise consisted with Staff Training Event (STE), Field Training Event (FTE) and the UN Gender and Protection Planning course. Each year this Multi-national Peacekeeping Event (MPE) is conducted in the Asia-pacific. The effectiveness, professionalism, commitment and conduct of the Sri Lankan troops were commended by the organizers in the international arena.
