Garuda Chanti Dharma Multinational Field Training Exercise refresher Course organized at Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) commenced on 20 June 2022 with the directions of the Commandant, Brigadier C A Rajapaksha RSP and Chief Instructor Lieutenant Colonel G H Amitha RWP RSP psc SF. The course was consisted with 32 Other Ranks.

Garuda Chanti Dharma Multinational Field Training Exercise 2022 is scheduled to be held in Bangladesh from 18 July 2022 to 31 July 2022 and one Platoon from Sri Lanka Army is selected to be sent to this training by representing all the regiments of the Sri Lanka Army. Prior to this main event a refresher course had conducted in Bangladesh from 18 February 2022 to 12 March 2022 and two officer instructors participated the event from Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL).

With the intention of preparing the participants prior to the Garuda Chanti Dharma Multinational Field Training Exercise 2022, IPSOTSL has organized a special refresher course and it will support the participants to perform well in this field training exercise and flutters the Sri Lankan flag proudly in the international arena. All the lectures were delivered by a panel of qualified in house and visiting lecturers with their close supervision on the course outline and subject matters. Further, the course consisted with practical exercises to enhance the knowledge of the participants as how to execute the duties well on ground.

The opening remark was delivered by Brigadier C A Rajapaksha RSP, the Commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka.
