Instructor Refresher Course I - 2022 organized at Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) commenced on 13.02.2022 with the directions of the Commandant, Brigadier C A Rajapaksha RSP and the Chief Instructor Lieutenant Colonel G H Amitha RWP RSP psc SF. The course was consisted with 47 other rank instructors within the training institute.

The Aim of this course was to prepare the skilled and talented instructors to instruct students on peacekeeping duties in the UN missions. Moreover to increase the efficiency, reduce mistakes, promoting excellence, fostering a culture of continuous learning, helping to identify training needs and skills gaps and mainly to build-up the confidence of the instructors.

All the lectures were delivered by a panel of qualified in-house and visiting lecturers with their close supervision on the course outline and subject matters. The course participants are intensively training on different UN Missions, UN Mandate, IHL and HR, Mess Etiquettes, English and French Language etc. Further students will train in delivering lectures on demonstrations and lane trainings.
