Termination of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Advance Course was commenced on 18 January 2022 and concluded on 15 February 2022 at IPSOTSL under the direction and guidance of Directorate of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.

The course consisted of 18 officers including two officer from the Sri Lanka Air Force and one Inspectors from Special Task Force of Sri Lanka Police and 27 Other Ranks from tri services and Police. The objective of the course was to enhance the knowledge of junior level officers and NCOs regarding Humanitarian Rights Law, its usage and basic knowledge on Human Rights. As military personnel it is highly essential to acquire proper knowledge on these themes. The Closing remarks was delivered by Brigadier KAN Rasika Kumara psc, the Director of Directorate of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.

Further all the students who have completed the course successfully were awarded with a well-recognized certificate from Directorate of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
