Combat Convoy Company Pre-deployment Course No - 4 (Reserve) for MINUSMA (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali) was commenced on 25 October 2021 and concluded on 24 November 2021. The course consisted with 157 students (17 x Officers and 140 x ORs from Sri Lanka Army and 2 x Officers and 05 ORs from Sri Lanka Air Force) representing various regiments.

The course has designed to provide a basic knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations. Furthermore the course is being conducted adhering to all health protocols and guidelines under the “Bio Bubble Concept” through a zoom platform. The main objective of this training capsule is to offer a brief awareness about the relevant host country and specially the duties and responsibilities which belongs to them according to the mandate. The course was successfully completed within the limited period of time.

The closing remark was delivered by Brigadier C A Rajapaksha RSP, the Commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka.
