Brigadier CA Rajapaksha RSP the new commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) assumed duties on Wednesday 27 October 2021 during a simple ceremony at the office of the IPSOTSL.

A bright and customary guard turn-out was extended to the newly appointed commandant as he proceeded. After religious observance he symbolically signed the first formal document and received greetings from all ranks who were presented at the occasion.

Brigadier Chinthaka Rajapaksha is the 14 Commandant of the IPSOTSL. He marked the assuming of duties by planting a ‘Mango’ sapling in the compound. Thereafter, the troops address was done by the new commandant followed by a tea party.

All his staff including the Chief Instructor and all Officers congratulated him on the new appointment and wished him good luck.
