United Nations Logistics Officers Course Local No - 2 (UNLOC-II) was commenced on 30 Nov 2020 at Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL). The course was consisted with 30 student Officers. The opening remark was delivered by Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc the Commandant of IPSOTSL.

The aim of this training capsule is to provide excellent knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations logistics and prepare the selected Officers to perform expertly as Logistic Staff Officers and Contingent Members at various HQs in UN Missions.

The course curriculum is designed according to the guideline of the United Nations Core Pre-demployment Training Materials (CPTM) which includes the basic knowledge about UN and UN logistics manual which gives special reference to COE (Contingent Owned Equipment) manual.
