United Nations Logistics Officer Course (Local) 02 - 2020 was commenced on 30 November 2020 and successfully completed on 15 December 2020. The course was consisted with 30 students.

The aim of this course is to groom Officers of the Sri Lanka Army to be employed as Logistics Officers and contingent officers in future. The training capsule offered a brief awareness about the UN and Peace Support Operations, UN logistics, thematic subjects such as Conflict Related Sexual Violence, Child Protection and International Humanitarian Law & Human Rights. It also consisted with exercises on calculations to make aware about the logistics process of UN. It will enable the Officers to perform the tasks proficiently and effectively in liaison with various HQs and contingents in UN missions.

The closing remark was delivered by Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc the Commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL)
