Combat Convoy Company Pre-deployment Training Course No 03 was commenced on 11 August and successfully completed on 14 September 2020. The Course was consisted with 330 students (26 x Officers and 304 x ORs) representing various regiments.

The course was designed to provide a basic knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations. The main objective of this training capsule was to offer a brief awareness about the relevant country and its location, surroundings, climate and culture. Special attention has been given to acclimatize the trainees to specific mission oriented duties and responsibilities which belong to them according to the mandate were included in order to perform the tasks proficiently and effectively in liaison with various HQs and contingents in UN missions. The course was conducted under the guidance of the Commandant Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc closing remarks were delivered by Lt Col RA Samaranayake USP psc, the Chief Instructor of the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka.
