To coincide with the celebration of 16 anniversary of Institute Of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka Kukulegaga, conducted a series of events as religious based activities along with the troop address, tree planting programme and all rank lunch, obeying to the quarantine instructions on 12 and 13 June 2020 under the guidance of Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc, Commandant , IPSOTSL.

Commandant addressed all troops on Friday (12) and planted a Mango tree to mark the 16th anniversary at the camp premises and followed by an all rank lunch.

Religious Observances commenced with a Dhamma Sermon on Friday (12) on the subject of controlling our mind and importance of spiritual well-being. And also blessings were invoked on the institute and all ranks serving under the training institute.

On the following day a shramadana campaign held to clean the surroundings of two temples respectively Kosgulana and Kelinkanda with the participation of 60 troops.

The Commandant Brigadier Shantha Ranaweera, Chief Instructor Lieutenant Colonel Ananda Samaranayake and all officers, School Regiment Sergeant Major and all Other ranks were presented to the 16th anniversary celebration.
