Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc new commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka assumed duties on Wednesday 08 April 2020 during a simple ceremony at the office of the IPSOTSL.

After the religious observances he symbolically signed the first formal document and received greetings from other senior officers who were presented at the occasion.

Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc is the 14 Commandant of the IPSOTSL.

He spoke to key staff officers of the institution due to the prevailing situation of the country and underscored the importance of professional outlook and team work among all wings for the best desired results. He also pledged to do his best for the advancement of the institute in future.

All his staff including the Chief Instructor and all officers congratulated him on the new appointment and wished him good luck.
