The International Humanitarian Law and Human Right Basic Course conducted at IPSOTSL under the direction and guidance of Directorate of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law from 10 February 2020 to 28 February 2020 was completed successfully. The course consisted of 15 officers including two officers from the Sri Lanka Navy and two officer from Special Task Force of Sri Lanka Police and 37 Other Ranks from different services and police. The objective of the course was to enhance the knowledge of junior level officers regarding Humanitarian Law and its implication and basic knowledge of Human Right Violation. The opening address and closing address were conducted by the Director of Directorate of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
