Wednesday (25) evening’s TV feature ‘Mahajana Dinaya’ in ‘Rupavahini’ had Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army as the main contributor, where a broad spectrum of perspectives, concerns and interests were discussed on the emergence of new positive cases of COVID-19 outbreak, the status quo, existing PCR systems, use of drones, need for preventive health practices, and how to mitigate the increase of COVID-19 positive patients were taken up for discussion.
