A total of 308 more individuals were flown to Sri Lanka today (16) from Japan (234) by a Sri Lankan flight and from Myanmar (74) by a flight owned by Mynmar government. Sri Lanka Ex-Service Persons’ (Armed Forces) Association in the United Kingdom, concerned about national efforts, aimed at containing the spread of COVID-19 virus in Sri Lanka, recently made a substantial financial donation of £1120 (LKR 258,240.25) towards the ‘COVID 19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund’ of the Presidential Secretariat through the Sri Lanka High Commission in London.
