The Director General General Staff, Commander Army Training Command and Colonel of the Regiment of Commando Regiment Major General B P S De Silva RSP visited his under command units prior to his retirement from 8 January 2021 to 11 January 2021.
He commenced his visit from 3 Commando Regiment on 8 January 2021 followed by visit to 2 Commando Regiment, 1 Commando Regiment and finally he visited the 4 Commando Regiment on 11 January 2020.
He addressed the commando troops of all the regiments and extended his heart felt gratitude for the good conduct of officers and Other Rankers during the period of his tenure as the Colonel of the Regiment of the Commando Regiment.
