The Commando Regiment organized a felicitation ceremony on (Tuesday) 09 February 2021 to salute the newly promoted Major General A K G K U Gnanaratne ndc psc who is serving as the Commandant of Sri Lanka Military Academy at present.
The charming event was held adhering to stipulated Covid 19 preventive guidelines. The event was attended by Council members, former CO’s, present CO’s and cross section of officers. The felicitation ceremony was commenced with the guard turnout followed by the guard of honour, floral tribute to the fallen heroes, tree planting and ended after troops address followed by the lunch.
