To coincide with the 40th anniversary celebrations of Commando Regiment, several meritorious activities, sport events ,competitions to be organized at Regimental Centre as well as in the Unit level including cricket, football, volleyball, Firing, Physical fitness, Swimming , tug of war and Triathlon competition among 1 Commando Regiment, 2 Commando Regiment 3 Commando Regiment and 4 Commando Regiment
On 16 January 2020, as the first event Football tournament was taken place at Regimental Centre Ganemulla with the participation of five teams from four Commando Regiments including Regimental Centre. 2 Commando Regiment defeated 3 Commando Regiment in the final match by 03 goals 01
