Commander Commando Brigade Brigadier Shanaka Rathnayake RWP RSP made his first official visit to 1 Commando Regiment after took over duties as Brigade Commander on 10 February 2020 . The visiting commander was received on arrival by the Commanding Officer and several other senior officers.
The Commander was accorded a Guard Turnout and Later on, the Commander addressed the officers and other ranks of 1 Commando Regiment troops and also made a camp visit in the end
