The Chief of Staff on Administrative Inspection at Commando Regimental Centre

The Administrative Inspection of Commando Regiment was held in the presence of the Chief of Staff, Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu at the Commando Regimental Centre on 25 February 2022. It mainly focused to ensure the Commando Regiment including all the battalions, are functioning as per the stipulated administrative procedures and rectify the lapses and pending issues if any. On arrival, the Chief of Staff was warmly received by the Major General A K G K U Gnanaratne ndc psc the Colonel of the Regiment of the Commando Regiment and Colonel B M S K K Dharmawardena RWP RSP USP the Centre Commandant and accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance of the Regimental Centre.

Before start the proceedings the Chief of Staff highlighted the importance of admin inspections and subsequently the directors and staff officers of the respective directorates and branches pointed the observations and decisions were taken to rectify those. From the Army Headquarter end senior officers and staff officers belongs to all the branches and directorates were attended and from the Commando Regiment end Commando Brigade Commander along with all the Commanding Officers, School Commandants and all the staff officers of the Commando Regimental Centre were attended.
