After completing almost one year remarkable service Lt Col Saman Perera RSP the sixteenth Commanding Officer of prestigious 2 Commando Regiment relinquished duties on 17 February 2020. He was saluted with Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour, after he was warmly received by the Second In Command ,Maj Sampath Wickramarathne psc.
Leaving an indelible gesture in the premises, Lt Col Saman Perera was later on invited to plant a tree sapling at the 2 Commando Regiment Camp premises.
