The Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services (RHQ CES) proudly hosted a Farewell Ceremony on 27 June 2025 at the Officers’ Mess, Panagoda to honour the recently Retired Officers of the Corps.
A total of 23 officers who retired from service were recognized during the ceremony and presented with mementos as a token of appreciation for their dedicated and distinguished service rendered to the Corps of Engineer Services and the Sri Lanka Army.
The event was graced by Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, Director Engineer Services, as the Chief Guest along with the presence of Brigadier KL Munasinghe USP, the Additional Director of Project Management Unit of DHQC Project, Brigadier NWPSM Perera, the Centre Commandant of CES, Brigadier MNJ Perera Brigadier Admin & Quartering of Security Force Headquarters (West), Senior Officers and Officers of CES.
The farewell ceremony reflected the Corps’ deep appreciation for the loyal and committed service of its officers at their retirement, and it served as a heartfelt send-off marking the end of an honourable chapter in their military careers
