LIEUTENANT JAHK JAYASINGHE IS A TRAILBLAZER FOR LADIES IN THE CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES

The Advanced Physical Training Instructor Course No 18 was held from 01 October 2024 to 10 February 2025 at the Sri Lanka Army Physical Training School, Panagoda, concluded with a prestigious passing-out parade on 10 February 2025 at the Army Indoor Stadium, Army Cantonment, Panagoda.

Among the pass-outs, Lieutenant JAHK Jayasinghe of the Corps of Engineer Services stood out as a trailblazer upon her successful completion of the course not only earned her the title of a Physical Training Instructor but also etched her name in the Corps' history. Lieutenant Harshani Jayasinghe made history as the first-ever female officer from the Corps of Engineer Services to graduate from the Advanced Physical Training Instructor Course.
