RELOCATING THE NEW HQ BUILDING OF 1 ENGINEER SERVICES REGIMENT

The 1 Engineer Services Regiment moved out of the Panagoda Army Cantonment building that had been installed since established and its reestablished it in the newly constructed three-storied building near the water pump in front of the Panagoda Army Cantonment on 01.08.2022 in simultaneously with the 72nd Unit Day Anniversary of the 1 Engineer Services Regiment.

The new unit building was opened on 01.08.2022 on the auspicious occasion by the Director Engineer Services and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineering Services Brig KMS Kumara by the invitation of Lt Col PAAS Perera CES, Commanding Officer of the 1 Engineer Services Regiment.

Brigadier SN Kithulgoda USP Brigadier (Log) of HQ Logistic Command, Brigadier EADK Edirisinghe Center Commandant of CES and Senior Officers, Officers and Regimental Sergeant Major with other ranks participated to this event.
