THE CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES CELEBRATES ITS 68TH ANNIVERSARY
Corps of Engineer Services celebrated its 68th anniversary in a grand scale on 10 January 2018. A customary guard of honour followed by a colourful parade was accorded to Maj Gen K A P J Ratnayake Lsc, the Director General Engineer Services and Colonel Commandant CES.
A series of Sports events followed by spectacular entertainment and colourful band display were the main attraction of the day.
Col Comdt and all other officers and more than 1000 other ranks enjoyed a All Ranks lunch in the afternoon. Col R Ganegoda psc, the Centre Commandant CES, Col P Gunasekara USP Lsc the Col (Design and Planning) Dte of ES, Col K M S Kumara the Deputy Centre Commandant CES , Senior Officers, Officers, Lady Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Employees participated the Corps Day.
