THE CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES FELICITATES MAJOR GENERAL KAPJ RATNAYAKE LSC THE COL COMDT CES
The Director General Engineer Services and the Col Comdt CES Brig KAPJ Ratnayake Lsc was promoted to the rank of Major General with effect from 01 September 2017. The felicitation Ceremony was organized by the Regimental Centre CES to the newly promoted Major General in grandeur scale following all the norms and customs of the Regiment. The guard turnout and a colourful parade was accorded and subsequently the Col Comdt planted a Mango Tree to commemorate the event. Later Col Comdt attended a Tea Party with ORs and had a lunch in the Officers Mess. In the Officers address Col Comdt stressed the significance of education of Officers and ORs to overcome the challenge in the field of construction. The Centre Comdt and all other Senior Officers participated the event.
