In conjunction with the 73rd Anniversary of the Corps of Engineer Services, the ‘Kiri Pindu Pooja’ was held on 16 December 2022 near Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Anuradhapura, in order to pray to the members of the Corps of Engineer Services, their families, flags and to pay tribute to the fallen war heroes.
Organized by the 2 Engineer Services Regiment for this occasion, with the participation of Engineer Services Trade School and 9(V) Engineer Services Regiment and was offered to Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in a beautiful procession that started in front of Sandahiru Seya.
For this occasion, CO 2 ESR Lt Col HBC Mahendra ptsc CES, Commandant of ESTS Lt Col RS Punchihewa USP, CO 9 (V) ESR, Major JKMRK Ranasinghe CES, Senior Officers Officers, many WOs with Sergeant Major of 2 ESR and other rank participated to this event.
