THE TROOPS OF CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES CONDUCTS A SPECIAL MILK RICE OFFERING TO THE SRI MAHA BODHI ON 19 DECEMBER 2019

As another major event of the Buddhist religious activities conducted to coincide with the 70th Anniversary Celebrations of the Corps of Engineer Services that falls on 10 January 2020, under the guidance of Brigadier R Ganegoda psc the Colonel Commandant Corps of Engineer Services and the Director Engineer Services, the Officers and Other Ranks of the Corps of Engineer Services made a special Milk Rice offering to Anuradhapura Jaya Sri maha Bodhi on 19 December 2019 in order to invoke blessings on all members of the Corps. The event was organized by the 2nd Engineer Services Regiment and the 9th (Vol) Engineer Services Regiment. Colonel K M S Kumara the Centre Commandant CES . Lt Col N W P S M Perera CES the Staff Officer I (Admin) RHQ CES , Lt Col H P C Mahendra ptsc CES the Commanding Officer 2 ESR, Lt Col N Wanigasinghe Lsc CES the Commanding Officer 8 (V) ESR , Lt Col R M S K Rathnayake CES the Commanding Officer 9 (V) ESR and a large number of Senior Officers , Officers ,Other Ranks and their family members participated in this event representing all Units and Institutes of the Corps of Engineer Services.
