Following a conceptual notion given by Major General UD Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commander Security Forces – East, the Directorate of Engineering Services installed a Reverse Osmosis Plant (RO Plant) for water purification, manufactured by the Engineering Service Central Workshop at Habarakada.
500 liter RO Plant was installed by GE (Welikanda) under the supervision of 3 Engineer Services Regiment for the welfare of the troops serving the SFHQ – East. The new RO plant was inaugurated during a simple ceremony on Thursday (June 22) by the Commander, SF – E in the presence of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks serving the SFHQ – East.
