MULTIPURPOSE METAL BENDING MACHINE CREATED BY SAPPER UDAYA KUMARA BP SECURED THE SECOND PLACE AT THE NEW INVENTIONS COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY THE SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (WANNI).

The Multipurpose Metal Banding Machine invented by Sapper Udaya kumara BP of 9th Engineer Services Regiment won the 2nd place at the Ranaviru New Inventions Competition - 2018 organized among the troops serving in Units locked under the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni).

This newly designed machine is a human powered machine operated by hand without electricity and can be easily converted in to a electric powered machine by using an electric motor.

The machine can be used to bend steel rods, GI pipes, Box Bars, L - Iron Bars, etc and can be manufactured at a approximate coat of Rs. 25,000.00.
