Mrs. Surangi Amarapala assumed duties as the new honorable president of Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch on September 7, 2023, amidst religious ceremonies at the regimental headquarters, Corps of Engineer Services, Panagoda.
The new honorable president, Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Aruni Chandrsekara, Secretary of CES Seva Vanitha Branch, at the main entrance of Corps of Engineer Services regimental headquarters. After done religious rituals and invoked blessing upon the new honorable president of Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Surangi Amarapala placed her signature on an official document, symbolizing the formal acceptance of her office to mark this occasion.
Thereafter, farewell was extended to the outgoing honorable president of Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Deepika Prashanthi Chandrasena, at the officers’ mess at Corps of Engineer Services regimental headquarters.
