MAJOR JANITH RUWANPATHIRANA CES MAKES THE CORPS PROUD

The graduation ceremony of Course No 09 of the Logistics Staff Course which qualifies three CES Officers was held at the evening hours on 13 December 2023, presided by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General H V L M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu as the Chief Guest.

Major Janith Ruwanpathirana from the Corps of Engineer Services has secured First in Order of Merit in the Logistics Staff Course No 09. The student officers of this course consisted of 34 Officers from the Army, and Air Force, and a Nepali Army from Nepal. Major Janith Ruwanpathirana excelled well in this course and was able to achieve the best student officer award and has brought pride to the CES Family.

Trophy and Lsc acronym were awarded by the day chief guest Lieutenant General H V L M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu. The best student officer award is bestowed on the student officer who has displayed outstanding performances and obtained the highest aggregate for examinations, exercises, discussions, and all curricular activities in the course. Maj Janith Ruwanpathirana shined with brilliant colours at the Logistics Staff Course No 09 and secured First in Order of Merit.

Maj Janith Ruwanpathira was acknowledged by Maj Gen Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc the Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services at the Regimental Headquarters on 14 December 2023. The Deputy Centre Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services Col MSD Perera USP ptsc joined to this event. This great achievement will be engraved in the annals of CES History.
