In recognition of his excellent service and contributions to Human Resource Development and leadership skills, the Jury Council and Advisory Board of the World Human Resource Development Congress have selected Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Director General Financial Management of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, as the recipient of the "Global HR Leadership Award" for year 2024 at the Global HR Excellence Awards ceremony held on Thursday (15), in Mumbai, India.
Individuals and the brightest minds in different fields from 126 countries participated in the 32nd Edition of the World HRD Congress, held from February 15th to 17th, 2024, in Mumbai, India.
This marks the fourth time that Major General Lanka Amarapala has showcased his exceptional talents and skills in National Security Administration, Academic Excellence, Human Resource Development and Leadership, bringing honour and recognition to the country and the Sri Lanka Army at the global level.
