MAJOR GENERAL LANKA AMARAPALA INITIATED ANOTHER WELFARE FACILITY FOR OFFICERS, SOLDIERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

In accordance with the vision of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, and the Director General Financial Management, Major General Lanka Amarapala, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a holiday bungalow at Engineer Services Central Workshop in Habarakada on Tuesday (30).

This holiday bungalow aims to provide accommodation facilities for officers, soldiers, and their families who visit for medical services, as well as to address their administrative needs, originating from the Panagoda Cantonment, Camps, and other facilities situated in the Colombo area.

Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, and the Director General Financial Management of the Sri Lanka Army jointly laid the foundation stone with Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, the Director of Engineer Services, Colonel KL Munasinghe USP, the Centre Commandant of the CES, also Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witness the event.
