MAJOR GENERAL LANKA AMARAPALA INAUGURATES A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOLIDAY BUNGALOW THE “FIELD VIEW”

Fulfilling the vision of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the long awaited Holiday Bungalow, “Field View” as a part of a welfare project for officers and soldiers was inaugurated by the Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of CES, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc on Monday (13) at Engineer Services Central Workshop premises, Habarakada.

This project was initiated by the Colonel Commandant with the aim of providing accommodation facilities for officers, soldiers, and their families who visit for medical services, as well as to address their administrative needs, originating from the Panagoda Cantonment, Camps, and other facilities situated in the Colombo area.

The “Field View” came to reality in less than 4 months due to the sheer commitment, dedication, and skills of the creators. During the inauguration ceremony, Major General Lanka Amarapala did not forget to commend their skills and commitment.

Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, the Director Engineer Services, Brigadier KL Munasinghe USP, the Centre Commandant of CES, also senior officers, officers, and other ranks witnessed the event.
