MAJ GEN IANB PERERA RWP USP ndu psc VISITS 10 (V) ENGINEER SERVICES REGIMENT

Major General IANB Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the Military Secretary and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, visited the 10 (V) Engineer Services Regiment on Sunday (04). The visiting Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Major RPA Rohana USP Lsc CES, and was then accorded a guard turnout showcasing the regiment's discipline

Next, the Commanding Officer briefed the Colonel Commandant on the unit's tasks, responsibilities, and recent achievements, highlighting its vital role in supporting the military. Then a sapling was planted, symbolizing the regiment's commitment to environmental responsibility and future success and posed for a group photograph with the officers commemorating the visit, fostering unity and a shared purpose.

The Colonel Commandant then addressed the troops, commending their dedication and professionalism. A tea reception facilitated informal interaction and strengthened the bond between the Colonel Commandant and the personnel. Major General Buddhika Perera then visited the camp facilities, gaining firsthand knowledge of the regiment's capabilities. He also addressed the officers, providing valuable leadership and regimental guidance.

He concluded his visit by signing the Visitors' Book, a tradition solidifying his visit and the regiment's history. The Centre Commandant Brigadier KL Munasinghe USP, the Adjutant, Regimental Headquarters and all officers and other ranks of the unit joined the event.

This significant event highlighted the regiment's professionalism, dedication, and vital role in the Sri Lankan military, further strengthening the bonds within the unit.
