Lt Col PAAS Perera CES was presented with a Commendation Badge by the Commander of the Army for the successful efforts as the Commanding Officer of 1 Engineer Services Regiment. He managed to successfully relocate the long awaited 1 Engineer Services Regiment headquarters with a new concept. He was able to liaison with higher headquarters and government office to coordinate the engineering services assigned to 1 ESR without any defect/ omissions and, he has shown the excellent ability and interest in the satisfactory completion of the assigned duties under the SFHQ(West) as well as the Vesak Festival, government and non-government occasions.
