A lecture series initiated to enhance the knowledge of officers of CES would typically aim to provide professional development and expertise in various areas related to engineering and other specific roles within the CES and Sri Lanka Army as per the instructions and guidance of the Colonel Commandant Corps of Engineer Services and Director General Financial Management of Sri Lanka Army Maj Gen Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc. These lecture series will cover a wide range of topics and will be delivered by subject matter experts, senior officers, or external professionals.
Major KDS Lankathilaka psc CES, the Assistant Secretary to the Chief of Defense Staff, delivered the first speech on ‘Profession Grooming and Ethics’.
A large number of officers participated in this, and this lecture was also distributed through ‘Zoom’ to the units and institutions belonging to the CES.
The lecture series will be conducted regularly, whether as a part of onboarding for new officers or as ongoing professional development for existing officers. By offering a comprehensive range of topics and encouraging continuous learning, such a lecture series can contribute to CES officers' professional growth and effectiveness.
