A highly engaging and informative lecture was conducted by Mr. Prasad Kaushalya Dodangodage, a well-known journalist and TV presenter specializing in current affairs. The lecture, which focused on the intricacies of international relations and global power dynamics, was held at the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services in Panagoda on 06 March 2025.
Mr. Dodangodage, who serves as the Assistant Director at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and is an analyst in Foreign News, shared his profound insights with the officers in attendance. With his extensive experience in the field of journalism, particularly in the coverage of current affairs, he provided a deeper understanding of the challenges and shifts in global power stability. Around 35 officers attended the lecture in person, while others joined the session virtually via Zoom.
The lecture provided a platform for thoughtful discussion and reflection on the global issues that influence national and international security, which is required for young officers in their knowledge-building process, preparing for examinations, and staying updated on current affairs.
