In a bid to address and resolve challenges surrounding Pay and Records matters, the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services (RHQ CES) organized a comprehensive awareness program on January 16, 2024. The event was inaugurated with an opening address by Colonel TPN de Silva, the Deputy Director - Pay and Records, setting the stage for a day of insightful discussions and collaborative problem-solving.
Colonel TPN de Silva, in his opening address, emphasized the importance of effective Pay and Records matters, highlighting its crucial role in the overall well-being and satisfaction of officers and other ranks within the Sri Lanka Army. He set the tone for a day that would prove to be instrumental in addressing prevailing issues and fostering a collaborative environment for solutions.
The program featured a lineup of seasoned experts who delivered lectures aimed at enhancing the understanding of Pay and Records processes. Major VPSC Premarathne Lsc SLAGSC, Major HWWPC Rathnayake SLAGSC, Major EMCB Weerasena SLAGSC, Major RVIL Rubasinghe SLAGSC, and Captain PT Ayesh SLAGSC, took the stage to share their expertise and knowledge.
Following the lectures, the floor was opened for discussions, allowing officers and other ranks from various units and establishments of CES to actively participate and to solve their problems regarding Pay & Records matters.
