THE ENGINEER SERVICES TRADE SCHOOL CELEBRATES THE 27TH ANNIVERSARY
The Engineer Services Trade School celebrated its 27th Anniversary on 05th December 2017 and a number of events were held to mark this special day.
The newly constructed Trades Training Wing was declared open by the Director General Engineer Services and Col Comdt CES Maj Gen K A P J Rathnayake Lsc who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Subsequently a new Pavilion was declared open by the Commandant ESTS and a Pirith Chanting Ceremony and a Catholic Mass were held to invoke blessing on the Staff and Students. Thereafter Staff Members and Students visited a Children’s Orphanage in Thalawa and provided Children with clothing , stationeries and other necessities.
NVQ Certificates were awarded to 31 tradesmen who successfully completed the course by the Chief Guest.
