The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) proudly celebrated the academic achievements of the children who successfully passed the Grade Five Scholarship Examination 2024. In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation and encouragement, these young achievers were presented with school accessories to support their continued educational journey.
This initiative was launched under the guidance of Mrs. Anupama Rathnayaka, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, CES, with the aim of not only recognizing the childrens’ hard work and dedication but also assisting them as they move forward in their academic pursuits.
The distribution ceremony was held alongside the Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival on 27th April 2025 at the 4(V) Engineer Services Regiment, Panadura. The lively and joyous atmosphere of the festival provided the perfect backdrop for honoring these young talents and motivating them for future success.
Through this event, a total of 180 children, all belonging to the Engineer Services Regiment family, received school supplies as gifts. These presents symbolized the Corps' commitment to fostering education and personal development among the families of its personnel.
