The Regimental Headquarters of Corps of Engineer Services proudly held Colours Nite 2025 on 08 September 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda, in a grand celebration of the sporting achievements of its personnel. The event recognized and honoured CES sportsmen who showcased outstanding performances at various levels including inter-regiment tournaments, Defence Services competitions, as well as national and international arenas.
A total of 104 sportsmen were awarded Regimental Colours and certificates as a token of appreciation for their dedication, hard work, and the immense pride they brought to the Corps. This initiative aims not only to recognize past achievements but also to encourage continued excellence in sports within the Corps.
The evening was graced by Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, as the Chief Guest. Also present at the ceremony were Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, the Director Engineer Services, Brigadier NWPSM Perera, the Centre Commandant CES, along with other Senior Officers, Officers, and proud sportsmen of the Corps.
