Under the guidance of Brigadier R Ganegoda psc , the Colonel Commandant Corps of Engineer Services and the Director Engineer Services, the Officers’ Training Day was held on 12 December 2019 at Corps of Engineer Services Regimental Headquarters with the participation of more than 50 Officers attended from all CES Units and Institutes. The Training day Programme was commenced with a Yoga Training programme and a Drill Training session held in the morning. Subsequently a workshop on Mental wellbeing, Stress and Anger Management through Yoga was conducted by Ms. Anoja Weerasinghe, Founder- Abhina Yoga Ashram
Thereafter, a lecture on “Impactful Communication” was conducted by Mr Priyanga Dassanayake who is a Charted Marketer.
In the evening , the Dinners’ Club was held and it was addressed by the guest lecturer Mr.Asantha Seneviratha who serves as a Lecturer at the Department of Strategic Studies,Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. He delivered an impressive lecture on “Geopolitics in the Indian Ocean in 21 st Centaury”
Brigadier R Ganegoda psc , Colonel K M S Kumara the Centre Commandant CES, Colonel S N Kithulgoda USP the Deputy Centre Commandnat CES and several other Senior Officers also participated in this occasion.
