THE CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES COMMEMORATES ITS FALLEN WAR HEROES
The Corps of Engineer Services annual War Heroes Commemoration Ceremony and Pirith Ceremony preceded by a colourful procession were held at the Corps of Engineer Services Regimental Headquarters on 05 January 2017 under the guidance of Maj Gen K A P J Ratnayake Lsc the Director General Engineer Services and Colonel Commandant CES who grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Floral tributes were offered by the Colonel Commandant, Senior Officers and Family members of the Fallen War Heroes and Civil employees who sacrificed their lives during the war. Valuable gifts packs were presented to the family members of the Fallen War Heroes. Later the Pirith Ceremony was held and followed by an Almsgiving to Maha Sangha on next morning.
